Wonder Woman, a pure abstract photograph

In this Age Of Pluralism, it is odd that curators at major art museums like MoMA or the Guggenheim in NYC don't show more pure abstract photographs. Their shows are centered around still photography because the economic system is built around still photography. That is why it is so tightly controlled by galleries and museums. It's hard to believe that a snapshot by Jeff Wall, in rich detail, is worth $1 million. Photographic hype has reached a ridiculous level. When curators begin to move in new directions, so too will the medium.
